The Explorer NF is a titanium framelock built around a premium S90V blade riding on caged bearings. It’s available in both milled and non-milled (no pattern- plain) handle variants. The design features minimal branding, an oversized backspacer, and a draping spine geometry that keeps your fingers safely clear of the cutting edge.

S90V and Titanium

The Explorer NF pairs premium materials for uncompromising performance and durability. Its blade is crafted from CPM S90V—a high-performance powder metallurgy stainless steel celebrated for its exceptional wear resistance and outstanding edge retention, even through extended use. The handle is machined from two slabs of solid titanium, offering an impressive strength-to-weight ratio that feels both sturdy and refined in hand. Naturally corrosion-resistant and immune to rust, titanium makes the Explorer NF perfectly suited for daily carry and use in all conditions.

 

Draped Spine

The Explorer NF features an innovative and distinct draped spine along the handle—a subtle but intentional design choice that enhances both safety and everyday usability. When the knife is closed, the draped spine naturally prevents your finger from contacting the blade edge. In your pocket, it serves a second purpose: by extending the spine’s contour past the edge line, it shields the blade from keys, coins, or other gear, keeping the edge protected and razor-sharp for when you need it most.

 

Pivot System

At the heart of the Explorer NF is a precision-engineered pivot system designed for both performance and versatility. It comes equipped with nine ceramic bearings housed in a hollow brass cage, delivering an ultra-smooth, fluid action when opening or closing the knife. For those who prefer a setup built to handle harsher environments, the Explorer NF also includes Skiff Thick Washers—ideal for situations where dirt, grit, or debris might otherwise compromise operation. Whether you prioritize refined mechanics or rugged dependability, the pivot system can adapt seamlessly to your needs.
